1. United States Tennis Association Rules Govern League Play.
Click here for the complete ITF rules of tennis.

a. LMRA is a family based organization and the leagues are intended to provide enjoyment and competition. Excessive foul and or bad language and or verbal abuse against opponents and or un-sportsman's like conduct will not be tolerated. Any player using foul and or bad language and or verbal abuse and or committing un-sportsman's like conduct can be immediately disqualified and will be removed form the league. Please contact the tennis commissioner as soon as possible after a violation and the player's privileges will be revoked. No warnings will be given.

b. Format (Visitor vs Home) The Home player is required to provide a new can of tennis balls for each scheduled match.

c. Each Match is comprised of 3 sets, normal scoring - a 12 Point Tie Break at 6 Games All (lst player to 7, win by 2). All scoring to be submitted via e-mail to Doug Hallman.

Please only submit one "revolving email" that tallies your scores each week. For example: Hallman def Hewitt 6-3, 6-2 (week 1), Hallman def Roddick 6-2, 6-4 (week 2).

Please use players' last names when reporting scores. Scores are extremely important in determining who wins. In any division where all scores are not fully reported, only players who have submitted all scores will be considered for an award. If no player has submitted all scores, no awards will be provided.

d. Home player has the responsibility for confirming the scheduled match. All Players must cooperate with home team for scheduling match.

e. One match scheduled each week and should be played in week scheduled. Make-ups can be made up to the last week of scheduled play. The player who cannot play during the scheduled week should be extra considerate to his opponent (who was inconvenienced) when rescheduling. A match date should be rescheduled within two weeks. All matches should be played.

f. If either player is more than 30 minutes late, the late player must forfeit the match unless otherwise agreed upon.

g. Under extenuating circumstances the home player may petition the tennis commissioner for "reasonable cause for misunderstanding."

h. Players standings will be determined by the standings at the end of scheduled play. Please complete all matches possible by then.
