Marla Krueger
LMRA Tennis Pro
The LMRA Tennis Activity is proud to announce its affiliation with
full-time tennis pro Marla Krueger. Marla is certified by the United
States Professional Tennis Association and has been a pro at both
Shady Oaks and Colonial Country Club.
Marla has been teaching tennis for 22 years. She began playing
tennis at the age of 9 and continued to play junior tennis in Texas.
Throughout her young life, she represented Texas in the Junior National
tournaments.
Marla received a full scholarship to Louisiana Tech University
where she played #1 singles on the tennis team. She received a bachelor's
degree in English from Louisiana Tech.
Throughout her career, she has received numerous awards and recognition.
She has been ranked #1 in Texas for the Women's 30 & Over Division.
Tennis is a family affair. Her husband also played in college and
still plays competitively. Their two children are also avid tennis
players. Her 9-year-old son plays competitive tennis on the Texas
United States Tennis Association (USTA) Boys 12 and Under Level.
Marla will be offering both group and private lessons. Private
lessons are $35/hour.
